Riverbend Development Group was founded by Anand "Andy" Patel, a commercial real estate developer with over two decades of experience taking projects from concept to certificate of occupancy — and beyond.

Anand "Andy" Patel is the principal of Riverbend Development Group. With over two decades of experience developing, financing, constructing, operating, and selling commercial real estate assets, Andy brings a rare combination of financial acumen, operational depth, and hands-on development experience to every project.

Andy's career spans convenience retail, hospitality, commercial leasing, and industrial engineering — giving him a 360-degree view of what makes a business asset succeed long after the ribbon is cut. He has been the managing partner and primary driver behind more than a dozen hotels, gas stations, and commercial properties across the American South and Southwest.

Before turning full-time to real estate development, Andy spent seven years at Williamson-Dickie Manufacturing (Dickies) in Fort Worth, where he managed multi-shift operations of a 500,000 square foot distribution center shipping over 100,000 garments daily — experience that instilled a discipline for process, scale, and execution that translates directly to managing complex development projects.

Andy holds an MBA from West Texas A&M University (AACSB accredited) and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington (ABET accredited).

Today, Riverbend Development Group is actively developing five new hotel properties across North Texas, with a combined project value exceeding $80 million and flags awarded from IHG and Hilton.
